Dear Partnership for Awareness Supporters, 

 

The start of 2025 has been especially challenging due to the wildfires that have been burning across Los Angeles County and in our neighboring communities, including Altadena and Pasadena, leaving many of us impacted by direct loss and/or by a sense of overwhelming grief and trauma as we continue to process the heaviness.  

 

We want to extend our heartfelt condolences to those experiencing pain and loss as well as our tremendous gratitude to our local partners and heroes.  We admire the strength of our San Marino Police and Fire Departments' emergency responders, the adaptability of the San Marino Unified School District's leadership and school site staff members as well as the generosity and resourcefulness of our community's countless impressive organizations and individuals who have stepped up to support our safety and our concrete aid and emotional needs while we endure and recover from this catastrophic situation.
